~Brush and groom your lashes gently with a disposable mascara spoolie or eye shadow brush (best choice).
~Try to sleep on your back or side, avoid smashing your lashes completely as you sleep.
~When you touch your lashes, always use upward, sweeping motions - no side to side
rubbing at the lash line.
~Do not try to remove the Extensions on your own, call me and I will remove them without harming your natural lashes.
~Do not cut the Extensions (you may cut your own lashes).Clean your eye make-up, but be gentle with your Extensions.
~Remember to come in for touch ups (2-4 weeks).
~Never tug, twist, pick or pull at your lashes or extensions.
~Treat your eyes gently - as if you have makeup on that you don't want to smudge.
Typically clients have anywhere from 60-100 natural lashes per eye. We will be placing a lash extension on each healthy natural lash available. Therefore this is time-consuming, especially if you are receiving hybrid or volume lashes. During a hybrid or volume lash service, 3-8 lightweight lash extensions are placed on one natural lash.
With proper isolation, appropriate choice of weight (length and extension diameter), proper aftercare and touch-ups done every 2-3 weeks, lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. If anything, we do more damage applying and removing strip lashes and mascara! Lash extensions encourage you to keep your hands away from fiddling with your lashes. There is no need to "take a break" from the extensions unless you are unable to keep up with the maintenance touch-ups.
Splash your eyes with lukewarm water and then gently massage our tear free cleanser around your upper and lower lid lines
Wash in a downward motion
Splash again until all product is rinsed away
Gently pat the skin around your eyelashes with a lint-free towel or microfiber towel
NOTE: Never rub back and forth as this will be too abrasive on the lash extensions.
Last but not least, brush through your lashes with a clean mascara wand to separate and fluff
Please remember that we shed 3-5 natural lashes a day. They will be more noticeable if you have extensions applied. It is normal for a few lash extensions to pop off with brushing. This is why we fill every lash possible so that it will still be full if you lose 3-5 a day.
Lash extensions are not implants but semi-permanent enhancements that are meant to be touched up every 2 weeks.
No.
Most likely you want to apply strips because you want a more fuller look or in between appointments. Once you removed the strips you end up removing the remainder of your las extensions. This could result in full set instead of a refill. Plus, glue residue will be left behind on your lashes creating an unhealthy environment for your natural lashes.
Our suggestion......
Book an appointment and upgrade to a hybrid or volume set. Bring our tech the strip look you are looking for. You may be surprise what we can create for you.
Diving is a strong NO.
Swimming is very limited. Chlorine contains elements that break down the bonding of lash extensions. Therefore it is not suggested that you fully saturate your face. Saltwater is a better option but still, try not to overdo it.
Do make sure to rinse your lashes with clean water, don't tug on them, and lightly brush them.
